| Comparing External Link Options for Online Booking |
(for those with a web site)
When you link into this system from your web site you must provide a complete set of navigational links.
All of the code for these links will be included in your Control Center once you set the subscription for that business. Use them to create the links for online booking at your site.
If your client is not logged in they will be prompted to login and will then be returned to their original destination.
There will be two types of clients arriving from your web site: registered and unregistered. Unregistered clients must view the registration agreement so please do not link directly to that registration form.

The Basic Package Plus has been designed for business members who do not have their own web site and who would like to use BBU as a low cost but effective primary web presence.
However, this package can also be used in conjunction with an external web site by loading your homepage and the rest of the system pages into a frameset at your site. With this type of setup the owner can easily change their hours of operation, services and pricing through this system rather than having to edit their own web pages.
Business owners with multiple locations and those with franchise operations can create menu systems for each location at their own web site.
When using framesets be sure to test all of the links prior to taking your system online. |

Those with their own web site can also use the External Link Package for online booking. The External Link Package will provide you with the option to define which page at your web site will open when a client clicks one of the system links to go back to your site.
These outbound links are located in the personal appointment center, BBU Search and throughout the booking process. In the setup process you will define which page at your web site will open for each of these links.
When using the external link package please remember that you must provide clients with all of the necessary links so they can easily re-enter the booking process.
The external link package does not include a system homepage but the business will be included in the BBU Search results. |

The Home Site Package will provide you with a stylish homepage and all of the resources for a primary web presence. This package functions in exactly the same way as the Basic Package Plus.
However, each template has a unique "look" and will most likely clash with the branding of your web site.
For this reason the Home Site package is not recommended for use in conjunction with online booking when you have your own web site.
Use either the Basic Package Plus or the External Link Package when linking into the appointment system from your site. |
